The accident last night in Fagagna.
Tragic accident this night in Fagagna where a 58 year old man, Gino Monaco, lost his life in the collision between his motorbike and a car.
According to initial reconstructions, the accident occurred along via Caporiacco, at the intersection with via Nuova Olanda. The motorcyclist and the car, on board which two people were travelling, collided violently. The impact caused losing control of the vehicle in Monaco, which was thrown against a power line pole and thrown to the ground for a distance of about fifteen meters.
The rescue operations, which promptly intervened, unfortunately proved to be useless. The medical personnel sent by Sores, the firefighters and the Carabinieri rushed to the scene of the accident. The rescuers attempted resuscitation maneuvers but unfortunately there was nothing to be done. The firefighters secured the area and the vehicles involved, while the Carabinieri carried out the surveys to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the clash.
