A pleasant occasion for socialising and conviviality centred on an explosion of Italian and foreign flavours: the 77th stage of the“International street food” in via dei Giardini satisfied the palates of the citizens of Terlizzi and the surrounding towns, curious to taste culinary specialties.

The two-day event on Friday and Saturday attracted a good number of customers who were able to taste the gastronomic products in a spacious and well-defined area near the municipal park. The tables and benches allowed the gourmets who ate their meals while seated to be welcomed in an orderly manner, allowing the flow of customers.

A varied offer that stimulated mouth watering: from classic American-style sandwiches and hot dogs, to Mexican tacos, as well as grilled meat cooked by Argentines. Both the stand dedicated to meatballs in the most varied preparations and that of caciocavallo hanged and pastrami, the latter to be understood as a Romanian peculiarity, attracted attention.

Equally appreciated were the typically Apulian roasted meat and the inviting kebabs. Also present are Sicilian delights with differently seasoned arancini and traditional Sicilian desserts, such as cassatine and cannoli.

The mobile breweries then crowned the tasting of the food, with different types of beer. The Cuban hut busy preparing alcoholic cocktails was very popular.

This Sunday, June 30, is the last day to enjoy street food in a carefree and relaxed summer atmosphere.
