The nursery school in via Catena will also remain open in July. Mayor Antonio Trombetta himself made it official during the end-of-year party which was held at the facility managed by the Asd cooperative social Onlus.
The families of the children, enthusiastic about the opportunity given by the municipal administration for the second year in a row, the extension of the educational activities also to the month of July was one of the first choices made by the then new mayor who had just taken office, have already communicated a wide support for this initiative.
A total of 70 of the 90 children enrolled will attend the nursery next month, taking advantage of the high-quality socio-educational services extended this year for the first time to a further 30 units thanks to the opening of the B complex.
The Nursery will guarantee next month the reception and care for the children, with meals and rest, to accompany them in the path of socialization and education fundamental to acquire autonomy, through play, manual laboratory activities, expressive and first literacy.
Another innovation will arrive in September with the computerization of the service. Registrations, payments and all the information needed to use the service will be managed through an application, as already happens with the Canteen and School Transport.
“I still remember the first visit to this splendid structure – said Mayor Antonio Trombetta – a few days after my inauguration, together with the meeting with the parents where they explained to me the need to open the nursery also in the month of July to encourage the growth and management of their little ones with work commitments. Since then we have come a long way, introduced several innovations such as the extension of the service to the summer months, the inauguration of the new complex, the activation of a dedicated App. Among the priority objectives of this Administration now remains the creation of a second nursery to meet the needs of an increasingly vast user base, a project of the late councilor Antonio Golino that we will certainly realize”.
