FLORENCE (ITALPRESS) – The Tuscany Region portal is open today for reporting expenses incurred for immediate support to citizens, businesses and agricultural companies. To activate the reimbursement procedure, it is necessary to connect to the address www.regione.toscana.it/alluvione2023 where citizens can upload receipts, invoices, and everything that certifies the expenses incurred, to then receive the reimbursements. After the government allocated 66 million for immediate support, the president of the Tuscany Region Eugenio Giani in his capacity as commissioner immediately activated the necessary procedures for opening the portal and enabling citizens and businesses to obtain the reimbursements provided for by national provisions, up to 5 thousand euros for families and up to 20 thousand euros for businesses affected by the flood.
“Since the day of the flood – said Giani – I have always been on the front line with the utmost attention paid to the citizens affected. From the immediate allocation of regional resources (25 million in total that we are finalizing the disbursement), to the calls for support for businesses, the extremely urgent interventions in the affected territories, concluded in most cases, but still in progress where the work is longer, up to today, in which, with the opening of the portal, a further phase opens, that of reimbursements that will lead to the distribution of the 66 million allocated by the government of which I am the executive commissioner for families and businesses. These are contributions that can be cumulated – recalled President Giani – with the 3000 euros that families have received or are receiving”.
Anyone who requests a refund of more than 8,000 euros can request an advance of 2,500 euros.
