The “Fraisse Fest” summer cultural program kicks off in Frassino on 12 July

The “Fraisse Fest” summer cultural program begins on Tuesday 12 July at 9pm, organized by the Library Council in collaboration with the “Fraisensi” cultural association.

The appointment is with Valeria Tron, the author of “The balance of fireflies”, the best-selling Italian fiction debut in 2022, who returns to tell, with the new novel “Pietra dolce”, the harsh mountain reality of her Val Germanasca. The scenery is that of the talc mines, woods and villages of one of the most evocative territories of the Occitan valleys. A world in which the story of a group of friends who lack everything except courage, and the arrival from Argentina of a girl with a guitar who will change their lives.

Valeria Tron, after the great public participation of last year, returns to Frassino to present her second book, once again a guest of the Municipal Library and, once again, she will talk with Cristina Levet of Bellino.

If weather permits, the presentation will take place outdoors, in the evocative setting of Via Vecchia. In case of rain we will be in the Library premises in Via San Rocco.

The initiative is part of the program of events planned by the Municipality of Frassino in its project “Fraisse – Paris”, financed by the “Turismo delle Radici” call of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and aimed at consolidating the town’s ties with its emigrants abroad.
