BORGO VALBELLUNA (BELLUNO) – The location of Morgan a Borgo Valbelluna will host the third edition of an original event dedicated to solidarity and inclusion on Sunday: young people from associations operating in the world of disability they will be able to become “navigators for a day” by climbing into the passenger seat of racing cars, experiencing the thrill of the roar of the engines from inside a cockpit. Thanks to the collaboration of the municipal administration, the local “Gruppo Frazionale”, the Valentino Racing team, Asd Tre Cime Promotor and Dolomiti Racing Motorsport, the “Motori e Speranza” event is renewed.
THE PROGRAM
The day will begin at 10am with the car rally, a journey through the beauties of the area which will culminate in Morgan at 1.30pm with tastings and activities for guests. After lunch, the “Smile Factory” will continue until 6pm, concluding with the delivery of the “Good Navigator” certificates. The event, which is also the 2nd Igor Schiocchet and Andrea Cortese memorial, will see the special participation of the State Police with a squad car available to guests from 1pm. This is how the organizers describe the initiative: «Let’s take a Sunday in June and within a small hamlet of Borgo Valbelluna we are building a factory. A factory where the final product is something special designed and created for less fortunate people. They are the kids from the associations that operate in the world of disability. But we haven’t yet said what is produced in this factory. A unique product that lights up people’s faces: the smile and everything it can generate. For a day, those who sometimes find themselves in difficulty because they are less fortunate will be able to immerse themselves in a unique atmosphere: that of the roar of the engines and become a “navigator for a day”. In fact, our guests will be able to sit alongside the “pilot” in racing cars and “navigate” with their smile. An event where inclusion and solidarity become special guests.”
