Alghero in first place for price increase for seaside homes.
In Alghero the prices of houses by the sea have skyrocketed. According to a recent report by Immobiliare.it Insightsin five years, in the town in the province of Sassari, the average asking price for a holiday home has grown dramatically and the town is one of those that have undergone the most significant price increases.
Among the most expensive locations, according to the report, Forte dei Marmi (Lucca) stands out, where you spend just over 10 thousand euros per square meter for a house five minutes from the beach. The second most expensive location is Sorrento (Naples), with almost 8 thousand euros per square meter and Alassio, around 6,265 euros.

Immobiliare Insights’ analysis also analyzed the trend in property prices from 2019 to today, highlighting that there has been an increase in almost all the locations examined. Alghero is at first place for price spike of sea view properties, with an increase of 43.4% compared to the pre-pandemic period.
For a house five minutes from the sea the price has risen by 25.7% in just 5 years. The second location is Lignano Sabbiadoro, where the increase was 41.1%.
