Fire in the night in via Palmerino, apartment on fire

A fire broke out last night in via Palmerino at number 6 in Palermo. The flames started from an apartment on the fourth floor. A large cloud of black smoke invaded the staircase and many residents took to the streets. It appears there was no one in the apartment at the time. The firefighters entered the house. It seems that the cause of the fire was a short circuit. At the end of the intervention, when the area was cleared, the residents returned home. There are no injuries.

Fire in via Perez

A fire broke out in a ground floor apartment in via Francesco Perez in Palermo. The firefighters intervened and put out the flames which apparently started from a short circuit which caused smoke between the rooms. There were two women in the house, one aged 67 and a young woman aged 24. They remained intoxicated and treated by the 118 health workers who arrived together with the firefighters.

Fires at Zen 2

The firefighters intervened six times in the Zen 2 neighborhood in Palermo to put out the garbage fires that broke out last night. The streets are always the same where piles of uncollected rubbish are piled up. Via Fausto Coppi, via Costante Girardengo, via Agesia di Siragusa, via Pensabene. As happens in these cases, it was a terrible night for residents forced to live in homes invaded by the black smoke produced by the fires.

Fires in Buonfornello and Campofelice

The firefighters and civil protection volunteers intervened to put out two fires that broke out in the Buonfornello area and in Campofelice di Roccella and which caused damage to the vegetation.
