The line, active from 1 July to 31 August, will connect the municipalities of Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Zoagli, Chiavari, Lavagna, Sestri Levante and, for the first time, Moneglia with 33 stops.
Ready to start, also for summer 2024, Overnight Bus: the AMT evening bus line which from 1st July to 31st August will allow citizens and tourists of Tigullio to experience summer evenings in a sustainable way, without the worry of car. Two new features characterize the service for summer 2024: the involvement of the municipality of Moneglia and the new timetable.
The evening connection, created thanks to the collaboration between the Metropolitan City of Genoa, AMT and the municipalities of Chiavari, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Zoagli, Chiavari, Lavagna and Sestri Levante sees this year the entry of Moneglia among the administrations that have chosen to offer those who want to experience summer evenings in complete freedom the ability to move around the towns of Tigullio in a comfortable, sustainable and safe way, using public transport.
The second innovation concerns the timetable, revised to offer young people in particular the possibility of using the bus to reach the places of evening and night entertainment in peace. The line, in fact, will be in service from 9.30pm until dawn.
The route winds along the Aurelia and includes 33 stops between Moneglia, Sestri Levante and Santa Margherita Ligure, crossing Lavagna, Chiavari, Zoagli and Rapallo. In the next few days the stops will be personalized with Overnight Bus timetables to facilitate access to the service for tourists and residents.
Overnight Bus can be used with all AMT tickets and passes. Thanks to the new experimental commercial policy launched by AMT on 15 January 2024, under 14s resident in the municipalities of the Metropolitan City of Genoa can travel for free by showing their CityPass, physical or dematerialized on their smartphone.
