Qonto and Wise Platform, faster and more convenient international payments

How muchthe solution of corporate financial management leader in Europe, has announced a new partnerships strategic with Wise Platform and the upcoming launch of the SEPA direct debit collection. These innovations are designed to offer 500,000 customers of Qonto faster, cheaper and more convenient international paymentsfurther strengthening their offering of business banking.

An alliance for international growth

Collaboration with Wise Platform, one of the market-leading global infrastructures for banks and businesses, represents a significant enhancement to Qonto’s international payments capabilities. Thanks to this integration, Qonto customers will be able to enjoy numerous advantages:

  • Facilitate international business: Customers will have the ability to send payments to over 130 countries, up from 58, using 24 different currencies.
  • Faster payments: More than 60% of Wise transfers are settled instantly (in 20 seconds or less), and 95% are completed in less than a day.
  • Greater visibility: Clear and accurate payment tracking provides a better user experience, with enhanced visibility into international payments.
  • Low cost: International transfers will be low-cost, with Wise charging an upfront fee and the mid-market exchange rate with no hidden fees.

The innovation of SEPA direct debit collection

In addition to the partnership with Wise, Qonto will soon introduce a new feature: the SEPA direct debit (SDD) collection. Starting in July, Qonto customers will be able to activate SEPA direct debits directly from their accounts, ensuring timely payments and centralizing all incoming payments into the Qonto app.
