The “Flooded Village” and “Via Ponte Romano” committees will not only be present at the passage of the Tour de France with a protest, as already announced in recent days, but will organize, again on Sunday 30 June, a mini bike tour in flooded Faenza: “The hardships of Faenza flood victims in the Alps and Pyrenees of bureaucracy” is the subtitle of the initiative.
Participants in the protest event will be identified by yellow t-shirts with the words angry floods written on them. They will carry out a non-competitive cycling tour, from 8am to 8.30am, through the streets of the city affected by the flood, and then give life to a final rally in Piazzale Sercognani, where they will wait for the arrival of the Tour de France: “A welcome to the Tour de France, its history and its advertising caravan, which give the opportunity to remind the authorities, press and TV, of the unresolved problems of the people of Faenza and the flooded Romagna”.
One hundred participants are expected.
“Everything will take place in compliance with laws, regulations and provisions of the authorities”.
