Investigations continue into the murder of Thomas Luciani, a case that has shocked the Pescara community. A key witness has recently emerged, providing details that could prove crucial to solving the case.
According to information reported by The print, the witness stated that he had seen Luciani on the night of the crime in the company of two suspicious individuals. The testimony, collected by the investigators, offers new investigative insights, directing the authorities’ attention to people who had not been considered until now.
Thomas Luciani, a 24-year-old young man, was found dead in his apartment in the center of Pescara last month. The circumstances of his death immediately appeared mysterious, with signs of violence on his body that led investigators to suspect a premeditated murder. Luciani’s family, devastated by the tragedy, appealed for anyone with information to come forward to help find those responsible.

A 16-year-old young man provided investigators with detailed testimony about the murder of Thomas Luciani, which occurred last Sunday in Pescara. His account sheds new light on a crime that has shaken the local community.
According to the witness, the fatal encounter began around 3.40pm on Sunday. Andrea, son of a lawyer from Pescara, had an appointment with Luciani to collect a debt of around 200-300 euros, presumably linked to drug issues. The witness stated that Andrea was known to sell hashish and that Luciani was also involved in drug-related activities.
The situation quickly escalated into violence. The witness describes a chilling scene: “Andrea continued to stab him. They said he stabbed him 15 times and one of the two boys, who then took the knife, with a black blade, gave him 10 more stabs.” The shocked witness walked away, joining other friends nearby.
After the attack, the group headed to the Southern Cross beach, where they bathed as if nothing had happened. Andrea would have brought with him a bloody sock containing the murder weapon, which he then threw among the rocks. Despite searches by fire brigade divers, the knife has not yet been recovered.
The witness expressed his dismay at the events: “During the crime I was stunned, I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to stop them but I didn’t know how.” He described the attackers as “freaking out” during the attack.
It was thanks to the courage of the witness, who shared what happened with his brother and later with his father, a lieutenant colonel of the Carabinieri, that the authorities were alerted and the victim’s body was found.
