The witness’s story
In addition to the alleged killers, there were approximately four other very young people at the park. The murder of Thomas Luciani
It all started at 3.30pm on Sunday 23 June. According to initial investigations, one of the suspects would have had a drug debt of around 240 euros with the victim, who had contacted him by telephone to urge him to pay. Then the group would head to the park to settle scores, in the most sinister sense of the word.
The attack took place inside the park, during which one of the suspects pulled out the knife and inflicted 15 stab wounds. Then there was a change of hands: the knife it landed in the hands of another who hit Thomas Luciani with 10 more stab wounds.
Once the crime was committed, the two suspects with the others in tow headed towards a bathing establishment and took a bath there, but before diving into the water one of the attackers threw the knife against the rocks: “It must stay between us”. The positions of the other young people present during the attack are being examined by the investigators.
The victim’s grandmother: “You can’t kill like this”
There is no peace Olga, the victim’s grandmother, who does not hide her pain and frustration from ‘Tgr Abruzzo’. “Justice comes to light sooner or later anyway. I hope,” says the woman.
