A successful facelift, and more. Yes, because the Iveco Bus Crossway won the Red Dot Award, in the Product Design category, for the new front and new dashboard of the new generation of the best-selling Class II in Europe. The awards ceremony took place at the Red Dot Museum in Essen, Germany.

Every year, a jury made up of around 40 international experts from various specialized sectors awards the best products based on functionality, aesthetics, ease of use, sustainability and responsibility. The international Red Dot jury chose the Crossway for the award in the Product Design category for its all-new front end and dashboard, recognizing the manufacturer’s experience and design know-how. These stylistic elements were developed by the Iveco Bus design team based in Venissieux (France), in collaboration with the Iveco Group Style Center in Turin.
The new front it draws inspiration from Iveco tradition, like the new logo that dominates a grille with simple, clean lines. His design expresses dynamism and trust, reflecting a high level of quality perceived by transport operators and passengers in terms of reliability and safety. It cleverly integrates the new LED lights and the new ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) devices, in compliance with the GSR (General Safety Regulation) which will come into force in July.
The external design of the front is completed by a new dashboard focused on ergonomics and safety, with controls within easy reach of the driver, who can thus operate the main functions without taking his hands off the steering wheel.
