MILAN – If it was clear that the risk of falling (and therefore, probably, dying) did not cause him any particular hesitations, not even a complaint for invasion of buildings and damage stopped his climb. Dedelate, the nickname of the most famous Lombard climber of the moment on social media, continues to cause discussion by climbing on iconic buildings in Milan.

The foray onto the rafters of San Siro during the Sfera Ebbasta concert is only the latest mortal challenge from the 17-year-old originally from Sondrio who, thanks to his antics, is gaining notoriety day after day.

Growth on social media

This also explains the dizzying growth on social media. In exactly one month, from May 23rd to June 25th, Dedelate almost doubled its followers on Instagram: from 46 thousand to over 86 thousand. The surge immediately after the now famous selfie with the middle finger pointing towards the camera and the Madonnina del Duomo in the background. That post, with 58 thousand likes and over 1100 commentshas definitively put the spotlight on the young climber, who in the past had already been the protagonist of other climbs: the Castello Sforzesco and the Ariston of Sanremo the other two “conquered” icons.

“The intrusion” at the Meazza for the Sfera Ebbasta concert, however, posted with the phrase “you don’t know how much I ran to escape from trouble” quote from the song “Figli di papa” by the rapper from Cinisello, promises to do even better than the one on the Duomo. In a few hours, Dedelate published photos and videos around 3 am, for the shots on the beams of the Scala del calcio arrived 60 thousand likes and 1000 comments. But the numbers, including the number of followers, continue to grow. The post also reached Sfera who started following the boy and commented “Crazyyyyyy” the images from above of his live.

And now the “Dedelate phenomenon” risks happening get out of hand. With an ever-growing group of followers emulation risk increases exponentially.

As mentioned, neither the risk of dying nor the complaints stopped the young climber. And this suggests that his “exploits” did not end here. What will be the next monument on which the climber will plant his flag? All that remains is to wait for the next story, with the hope that his antics don’t end in tragedy.
