PERUGIA – Great results for the Padel Arena Perugia Fastweb and its prestigious Academy school at the recent Italian Padel Championships: «The athletes of our center – commented the two realities – brought home important victories, once again demonstrating excellence and dedication that characterize our school.”

For the U12 male category, Mattia Sergio Minelli, paired with Giovanni Miriello, placed first in the U14 female category, Emma Speziali, paired with Sophie Caruso, and for the U16 female category: Matilde Minelli, paired with Vittoria Giraldi.
The championships, which took place in Rome at the Circolo Canottieri Lungotevere della Vittoria, «saw our athletes – continue Padel Arena Perugia Fastweb – distinguish themselves by facing scorching heat that put their physical and mental resistance to the test. Special thanks go to our head coach Fabricio Cattaneo, national padel master, who with his experience and competence guided the athletes from the bench, dispensing advice and winning strategies. Together with him, the instructors Federico Gonzales, Franz Angelini Simone Codovini and Francesco Pignattelli contributed to the success, who train our young talents on a daily basis, and Francesco Facchini who is entrusted with the athletic preparation of our padel school to guarantee maximum sporting performance. We are proud of the results obtained by our athletes – they concluded from Padel Arena Fastweb – which we hope to continue with commitment and determination. Now we are preparing to face the next challenge: the Regions’ Cup, which will be held in Sibari, Calabria from 30 June to 5 July and from 30 July to 4 August in Perugia in our Padel Arena Fastweb club, where most of our athletes of the Academy are ready to challenge themselves and represent our Umbria region.”
