Thunderstorms in the Apennines, flooding in Bagno di Romagna. Firefighters at work to empty cellars, garages and homes

Interventions by the Forlì-Cesena Fire Brigade are underway due to the bad weather that hit the area today, 24 June. It’s 10 hours Fire brigade teams that are operating in the municipalities of Bagno di Romagna, Santa Sofia, Galeata, Civitella di Romagna, Portico, Premilcuore, Rocca San Casciano, Tredozio and Modigliana.

The teams are working to empty cellars, garages and flooded homes with motor pumps and to restore roads following landslides and landslides.

In Premilcuore a team intervened together with Hera technicians for a gas leak following a landslide, which was promptly contained and traffic was being restored; in Rocca San Casciano a team intervened following the collapse of a shed. No one was involved.
