It is certainly not a lucky time for the British Royal Family. It’s difficult to deny such a clear concept. This is demonstrated by yet another case, that ofaccident domestic of Princess Anne. It all happened in Gatcombe Park estatewhere is the injury caused by a horse forced her to be immediately admitted to hospital.

King Charles’ sister, the beloved Princess Anne, was rushed to hospital. Doctors diagnosed her with one concussionin addition to obvious minor head injuries.
It all happened on Sunday 23 June, while she was taking a walk in her Gatcombe Park estate, in Gloucestershire. Near her were her beloved horses (the Princess is the winner of an Olympic riding medal, ed.) but the dynamics of the accident are not yet clear. According to the doctors’ reconstruction, the wounds would be compatible with a impact occurred with the head or paws of one of the animals.
The entire family was on the estate, which includes husband Sir Tim Laurence (Vice Admiral) and children Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips. The emergency services intervened immediately. She was treated before being transported to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, where she underwent tests, treatments and observation, with her husband at her side, immovable.
The accident has obviously the busy schedule of commitments has radically changed of Princess Anna, much more active since her brother’s cancer diagnosis. Doctors strongly advised her to rest, which led to the official postponement of her trip to Canada, among other scheduled events. A clear blow on the Crown’s commitments front, considering today she is the busiest figure of all. This is net of Carlo’s slowdown on this front, Kate Middleton’s total stop and William’s almost complete fear, which aims to mainly take care of his wife.
Here are the words of one spokesperson for Buckingham Palace: “The Princess Royal suffered minor injuries and concussion following an accident on the Gatcombe Park estate last night. Your Royal Highness remains under observation, as a precautionary measure, and is expected to make a full and speedy recovery. The King has been kept closely informed and joins the entire Royal Family in sending his love and best wishes to the Princess for a speedy recovery.”
He is expected to return home during the week, where it will continue to be placed under observation and rest, at least until the end of June. The Princess’s thoughts immediately went to all those who will be affected by her absence. In fact, postponed commitments generate not only disappointments but also and above all inconvenience. For this reason, even though she was the victim of a (potentially very risky) accident, she made a point of apologizing to everyone through a spokesperson.
