Puetro Vallarta (Mexico) – After four days, the Amerigo Vespucci left the dock in the Mexican city of Puerto Vallarta with destination the large port and the Californian metropolis of Los Angeles.

In Puerto Vallarta, as in every stage of this extraordinary and long journey around the world, she took care of institutional relations on board and in the city and for three days she was available to the population for visits on board and contact with the commander Lai, the officers and the crew., arousing attention, attraction and sympathy.

The most beautiful sailing ship in the world still has six challenging months ahead of it before its return to the naval base in La Spezia which, after the Americas, will take it to the Far East from where it will begin its return journey and where it will continue to carry out its mission as Italy’s ambassador.

We, as we have done since its departure from Genoa, will continue to follow the Vespucci to which we send our warmest good wind, as sailors use.
