The Cellia façade was awarded

Cellia interactive facade by Progetto CMR and Focchi

Among the twenty products awarded with the Compasso d’Oro, the interactive facade appears Celliathe result of collaboration between CRM project And Focchi Spa, an international level facade builder. It is the first time that a façade component has obtained the prestigious recognition. The reason for the recognition: “The evolution of the wet construction site into a dry construction site, supported by a product capable of integrating in an industrialized manner the conventional functions of the architectural component with the most advanced control technologies of an advanced building”. Cellia is an integrated and high-tech enclosure system, completely customizable in finishes and performance levels, entirely made in the factory and intended for both new constructions and retrofitting. We will return to this architectural component soon with more details.

Award for MRX

“A new type of architectural complement with variable conformation – portal, gazebo – for the comfort of outdoor living spaces, capable of becoming an ordering element of the space as well as an efficient functional response to the need for shade”. This is the jury’s reasoning for MRXa new and particular idea from the designer Marco Acerbis which allows you to shade your living room with a space-saving element and a unique design according to the style Talents. It is, specifies the outdoor living specialist, an architectural concept that takes inspiration from classic pergolas and shading awnings but revolutionizes their structure. The structure made of extruded aluminum available in different color variations, when closed appears to be an extremely enigmatic portal but with its compass opening it allows the extension of the awning for a large and pleasant shade.

Mention for a Lever

Leva by DND and Park Associati

An Honorable Mention was awarded to the door handle Lever of the Brescia company Dndthe result of the studio project Park Associates. The product was present in ADI Design Index 2023. This is how the Milanese studio presents the handle: “In designing Leva we started from the physical concept of lever, to its archetype, which has affected not only the history of science but also philosophy, the arts and the most varied areas of our life, from sports to children’s games. An essential gesture, that of leveraging an almost microscopic mechanism which however allows an action full of meaning, even figurative: opening a door!”
