The Jesi team competed in Levico Terme with very important professional realities on the Italian, European and South American scene, performing well
JESI, 22 June 2024 – Having concluded the seasonal activity, the “Junior Jesina – Roberto Mancini Football School” took part in the 9th Edition of the “International Pulcino D’Oro Tournament”which started from Thursday 13 June until Sunday 16th.
The venue for the event was the splendid location of Levico Termeimmersed in the mountains of Trentino Alto Adigealready home to summer retreats for many football teams.
The protagonists are many children, over 1000, coming from all over Italy, Europe and South America.
Among the Italian professional realities present Atalanta, Juventus, Inter, Milan And Rome.
Among the foreign ones however, Atletico Madrid, Az Alkmaar, Benfica, Leeds Utd, PSV Eindhoven, River Plate And Sunderland.

In addition to these, many other amateur realities who enriched the list of participants.
For the Junior Jesina, partner company of the “International Pulcino D’Oro Tournament”it’s about the third consecutive participation to the tournament, which this year also featured the Vigor Senigalliaanother leading team thanks to the pass obtained with the victory of the regional stage organized by the Jesi club last year 25 April.
12 games where the kids from Mister Federici they collected 7 victories, 1 draw And 4 defeats.
By winning the last 3 games, the Jesi team won one of the rainbow trophies available.
The most exciting momentit was certainly the meeting with theAtalantaa fresh company winner of the “Europa League”. The Nerazzurri of equal age then emerged victorious with a final score of 3-1but the Jesi team did well by finishing with the advantage of 1-0 the third half.

As regards the winners, River Plate and Inter Women were awarded respectively the 9th “Golden Chick” and the “Chick D’Oro Girls”.
These are the little protagonists of Junior Jesina who took part in the event: Lorenzo Burn yourself, Ahmed Benzid, David Hand catcher, Nicholas Coppari, Glaucus Ginesi, Peter Mancini, Valerio Pettinari, Gian Marco Sampaolesi, Nicholas Tantucci and Thomas Valeri. The coach himself told us: “Participating in the Pulcino d’Oro and meeting professional clubs and some of the best football schools in Italy, bringing home one of the trophies for the amateur teams, in an Olipico climate, I would dare say, was a unique experience that the kids will take with them behind forever.”
A’experience therefore unforgettableto thesign of funbut also of an important technical comparison with teams from very important professional teams, for days that will certainly remain imprinted in the minds of the very young Jesi footballers.
