White smoke for the Serfilippi council: the mayor’s line of guaranteeing the presence of all the forces that have elected a municipal councilor passes. Last night only the presidency of the city council remained to be defined, which is contested by the two exponents of Fratelli d’Italia, Davide Delvecchio and Francesco Cavalieri.
It took all of yesterday afternoon to reach agreement with Meloni’s party on the attribution of delegations, so much so that the afternoon meeting called to sign the final document was postponed until 9 this morning. The executive presentation press conference will follow immediately afterwards. The coordinator Loretta Manocchi who will also have the role of vice mayor and the delegation for urban planning, including the Prg, and her colleague Lucia Tarsi who should be entrusted with culture and social services would join the Fratelli d’Italia council. Super department for Alberto Santorelli with tourism, major events, sports and economic activities which, however, should give up security. The latter is also a delegation claimed by Fd’I and Civici Marche and which Mayor Serfilippi apparently decided to keep for himself together with healthcare. The public works, as expected, should be entrusted to the Northern League member Gianluca Ilari, while Alessio Curzi of Fano Cambia Passo (the mayor’s list) should have the greenery and roads. Also on board is Mauro Talamelli from Forza Italia who, among other things, should be responsible for coastal defense and Loredana Maghernino for the Fano Civics who would be entrusted with educational services. Giacomo Mattioli from Fano Cambia Passo should be appointed at the helm of Aset, Alessandro Brandoni (secretary of the League) at the helm of the new personal services company while last night the issue of the presidency of the city council between Cavalieri and Delvecchio was still unresolved, a problem all internal to Fratelli d’Italia, linked to the different souls of Meloni’s party. Everyone’s hope is that the night brought advice. Luca Serfilippi, who had planned to present the government team today, seems to have succeeded in the difficult task. The mayor, in fact, needs to respond to citizens’ expectations and demonstrate that the change of pace, announced during the electoral campaign, does not stop at words but translates into concrete facts. For the opposition, in particular for the spokesperson of In Comune in recent days “the right has not put on a good show”. Uguccioni reminds Serfilippi when he suggested to the then mayor Seri “not to separate culture from tourism. Looking at how the new council will be composed, however, the first to not respond to his appeal is exactly the new mayor”. So if there are no significant changes this morning there will be the presentation of the Serfilippi council.
