Those who usually follow this type of game show know that Chain Reaction has been one of the most followed programs of the summer for years. For those who don’t know, it’s a game on Rai 1 in which teams, made up of three players, challenge each other to discover associations of words and sentences to find a chain of words.
The rules of the game
The last challenge is called “The Last Word” and the objective is to find a word that connects two others with only the initial letter as a clue. Competitors have two jokers available to receive a further letter as a clue and if the wrong answer is given the prize money is halved.
Chain Reaction Lazio
Today, June 21st, the last game began with the word “Eagle” to be linked to the word “Center” having only the L as a clue. The competitor did not have a ready answer, therefore, by halving the prize money, she was granted a further clue, namely the letter A. Despite this, the word she said was wrong, so she was granted one last letter, Z in order to arrive at the solution. With three letters out of five the word “Lazio” it was practically already formed and in fact it was guessed, albeit with a gaffe: when explaining the answer, the competitor explained that she connected “Aquila” with “Lazio” since L’Aquila, the city, is located in Lazio. Naturally, her teammates and the presenter Pino Insegno himself, a well-known Lazio fan, immediately corrected her by explaining that the two words were related to each other because the eagle is the white and blue symbol.
