Sixth day of strike and three serious news arrived at the garrison in front of the gates of Mozarc Bellco, the multinational that would like to fire 350 workers and against which CGIL, CISL and the entire community of institutions and citizens of the district have mobilized .
The most important political fact of this day is, without a doubt, the solidarity shown to the striking staff by the President of the national Confindustria, Emanuele Orsini from Modena, who has been at the helm of the organization for a month. This was announced by the President of the Province, Fabio Braglia, who arrived at the garrison this morning together with the Prefect of Modena, Alessandra Camporota and Senator Vincenza Rando.
“Orsini wanted to be with us this morning, he sent me his message of solidarity to bring to the workers of the sector”, said Braglia, highlighting the importance of Confindustria’s entry into the field and guaranteeing, in turn, the maximum support of the Province to continue to fuel the extraordinary climate of unity of all the institutions which continues to accompany the struggle of Mozarc employees .
“We note that the number one of Confindustria has taken a sensational position, disavowing Mozarc and his choices which risk infecting the entire biomedical district. You don’t have to be an expert to know that if the leader of the industrialists applauds those who go on strike, a major trauma must have occurred – comment Lisa Vincenzi (Filctem Cgil) and Alberto Suffritti (Femca Cisl Emilia Centrale) –. After all, Orsini is an entrepreneur from Modena, he knows well the importance of the biomedical district, in terms of employment, innovation and driving force for all of Italy and has acted accordingly. Now Confindustria has the opportunity to demonstrate what the concept of corporate social responsibility means”.
WEDNESDAY TABLE IN CONFINDUSTRIA

The intervention of Prefect Camporota, who arrived at the garrison just before midday, was appreciated, truly appreciated. “I bring the solidarity of the State and the Government – said Camporota – in an area where biomedical technology has been fundamental for the development not only of the province of Modena, but for the repercussions in terms of well-being of the whole of Italy.
