He had started his work shift at the factory less than an hour ago when he remained due to reasons still under investigation crushed between two rollers of a rolling machine. Thus she lost her life Mirko Schirolli, 35 year old worker resident in Rivarolo Mantovano, on the border with Cremonese. The dramatic accident at work occurred on Friday morning just before 8am (the shift had started at 7am) in the company Printer Symptomwhich is located in Cividalea hamlet of Rivarolo Mantovano, which produces fiberglass and plastic laminates.
The causes of the tragic accident are still being ascertained by the occupational medicine technicians of the ATS Val Padana. From the first reconstructions of what happened, in any case, it appears that the 35-year-old worker was cleaning the machinerywhen he would get his arm stuck between the rollers and in an instant it would then be sucked from the car. At that moment Schirolli would have been alone at the machine where he was working, so no one would have had the opportunity to clearly see what happened.
The colleagues who were working with him immediately raised the alarm: on site, as well as the staff Ats, the 118 health workers also arrived with ambulance and medical vehicle and the carabinieri from the Viadana Company. The health workers, however, could not help but confirm the death of the 35-year-old. Given the incident, production has been stopped while the competent bodies carry out all the necessary checks.
Schirolli, 35 years old, lived in Rivarolo Mantovano (not in the hamlet of Cividale) and was not married. For him, working in the company where the dramatic episode occurred was not new: according to what was possible to ascertain, in fact, he had been hired five years ago.
