Starting today, Tigullio will also have its own targeted placement office. It is located in Chiavari and was inaugurated by the regional councilor for Employment and Active Labor Policies Augusto Sartori, together with the deputy mayor of the Municipality of Chiavari Michela Canepa, the deputy mayor of the Metropolitan City of Genoa Antonio Segalerba and representatives of the local institutions, conclusion of the works started in December 2023 for a regional investment of 35 thousand euros.
The one for targeted placement is a service dedicated to the inclusion and re-employment of people with disabilities and people in socially disadvantaged conditions which, thanks to the regional CPI strengthening plan, now has a fully efficient operational headquarters.
The new spaces were made available by the Municipality of Chiavari through a free loan for use. The offices, located on the second floor of the building in Corso De Michiel 79, cover a total surface area of approximately 200 m2. The building already houses the Tigullio Employment Center on the third floor, inaugurated by the Liguria Region last year. For this reason, thanks to the merger of the new Office with the already active Employment Centre, the number of CPIs operating in Liguria is 14.
«The Liguria Region has almost completed the regional plan to strengthen the CPI with a total investment of around 30 million euros, of which over 11 million destined for the modernization of the offices, including that of Chiavari – comments the regional councilor to Employment and Active Labor Policies Augusto Sartori – The Plan is aimed at the structural strengthening of employment services, with the aim of standardizing the services offered in all offices in Liguria. The excellent results mainly concern employment numbers: in 2023, 174 people registered for targeted placement and this year there are already 78 registrations. Not only that, because there are 351 workers participating in the Gol Program, with 35% having obtained a contract and 98 users (28%) have been assigned to institutions for training activities. The Employment Centers and their functions in the area prove to be fundamental in directing and advising users, contributing to these successes.”

Below are the services provided by the Targeted Placement Office:
- Job placement. The office is responsible for promoting the employment of people with disabilities and protected categories, offering personalized advice thanks to a specialized tutor.
- Business support. Companies receive advice on administrative tools and hiring incentives. Operators collaborate with company representatives to identify suitable job positions.
- Goal program. From 2022, users will benefit from the actions of the Gol Program financed by the Pnrr which includes employment policy interventions and training measures.
