Yellow Day and Blue Monday play family members? What does Yellow Day have to do with the summer solstice? Today, June 20thit’s the day of summer solstice and we celebrate it too Yellow Day.
The day of Blue Mondayconsidered as the “sadest day of the year”, has now become very famous. It falls on the third Monday of January, and in that period i feeds of social networks come flooded with memes where people are overwhelmed by laziness and don’t want to go to work or go out with friends.

One would almost dare to say that Blue Monday is actually not just about monday, but also about every other day of the week. In fact it falls just when the Christmas holidays are over and the days I’m really shortoften making us not want to do anything and participate in social events.
Cliff Arnall it is psychologist that from 2005 has “invented” and the concept of Blue Monday spread. It also seems that it is the psychologist himself who has also created Yellow Day.
But what is Yellow Day?
Apparently it would be born to be the counterpart to Blue Monday. Yellow Day would indicate the “happiest day of the year”. And it falls today, the June 20th. But will it really be the happiest day?
The idea of Yellow Day probably comes from the fact that we are approaching the beautiful season, the days are getting longer and the temperatures are rising. Summer arrives and the people get ready to celebrate with festivals, sports outsidelong walks in the midst of nature and organizing holidays, it doesn’t matter whether they are seaside or mountain, the important thing is that there is the long-awaited heat.
