Olympic Salerno, the eSports team wins the LND championship with a record and flies to eSerieD
New prestigious title for Olympic Salerno, this time on a virtual pitch. The red and white eSports team has, in fact, achieved promotion to the Serie D championship by winning the regional eSerieE championship organized by LND Campania with an impressive performance list. It was the first tournament on the Next Gen platform that saw the colchoneros finish at the top with record numbers. A real team complete with coach and players (the official game is the EA Sports FC24 on PlayStation 5 (and/or XBOX, PC, for Cross Play) in 11 vs 11 mode with a minimum of 5 players on the pitch and a maximum of 30 in organic) who won and faced a series of challenges in the virtual circuit based on the most modern version of the famous FIFA, called Pro Club which allows you to play as a single player within a team made up of other users. A simulation as close as possible to reality: a coach-motivator, a group to coordinate for official appointments, each with their own role to respect on and off the pitch such as official dinners and get-togethers as happened on the occasion of the Serie A event – Operation Nostalgia at the “Arechi” stadium. A family that goes far beyond the game and has achieved notable results in other competitions which will then be revealed. The team captained and guided by Alessandro Barra and with Luigi Delli Venneri as player and trade union between President Pisapia’s company and the players catapulted into the virtual orbit, finished at the top with 58 points, 8 more than the Peluso Academy with 19 wins, 1 draw and just 4 defeats in the initial phase before the string of 11 consecutive successes (the last of which was 2-1 against Real Sito Caserta) which earned them the overtaking of the then leaders Nuova Napoli Nord then third in the general and the consolidation in the lead. “The icing on the cake for a fantastic year in which growth was constant from all points of view and prepares us for an even more exciting new year”, highlight Barra and Delli Venneri. Teams registered in the regional championships of Eccellenza, Promozione, First, Second, Third Category and Scholastic Youth Sector (in the latter two cases also provincial) participated in the tournament: in addition to the teams already mentioned, Agerola, Lavorate, Lago Patria, Salerno were faced Guiscards, Arechi, Club Pontecagnano, Baronissi Calcio, Real Casarea and Nola.
