At least two wounded and different kilometres tail: this is, at the moment, the budget of a car accident occurred on Mestre ring road. The clash, which occurred between two truck it’s a’carcaused the closure of transit on all lanes of the route.
The road accident between two trucks and a car
A road accident occurred around mid-morning today – Thursday 20 June 2024 – around 10 am at km 13+100 of the Mestre A57 ring road, near the Venice-Miranese junction, towards Milan.
According to the first information gathered so far, the accident involved two heavy vehicles and a carbut the causes of the accident are still to be ascertained.

Following the road accident, at least two people were injured. The interventions of the rescuers paid off closure of the route is necessarywith important consequences on local traffic.
The arrival of help on the Mestre ring road
The traffic police officers, the fire brigade, the traffic auxiliaries of Concessioni Autostradali Venete (on assistance and pre-signalling service) and the medical staff of the Suem (Urgency and Emergency Health Service) 118, arrived with an ambulance and a medical vehicle.
After the affected section was made safe by the officers and firefighters, the health workers have took care of the two injured people in the accident.
Fortunately their conditions were not serious. Still to clarify the dynamics of the accidenton which the police are working.
Several kilometers of queue
Following the accident, the traffic police officers had to stop traffic on the route, to allow medical personnel to operate safely and to be able to carry out all the measurements necessary to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident.
CAV (Venetian Motorway Concessions) operations center has arranged the temporary traffic diversion on the Miranese exitwith subsequent return to the ring road through the entrance junction.
With all three lanes closed to traffic, traffic on the route quickly grew to reach and exceed 6 kilometers in length.
