Fire in Naples, hill on fire on the Soccavo-Pianura connection: houses threatened

A large fire broke out in Naples this afternoon, 19 June 2024, around 3.30 pm, on a hill overlooking the Soccavo-Pianura perimeter connection, according to Fanpage.it. The flames are devouring the thick vegetation in the area. A large column of smoke rose from the fire. At the moment the firefighters are busy putting out the flames and preventing them from spreading to the houses below the hill. Unfortunately, the extinguishing operations are made more difficult by the fact that there are electric cables on the hill which make it difficult for the Canadians to intervene.
