CASALE SUL SILE (TREVISO) – THEautopsy did not clarify the mystery surrounding the death of Filippo Simionato, the 18-year-old found lifeless by his mother on June 12th in their home in Casale sul Sile. The autopsy examination carried out by the medical examiner Alberto Furlanetto on behalf of the Treviso Prosecutor’s Office did not untie the knots on suspected intoxication which caused a cardiac arrest to the very young. In this regard, the outcome of the toxicological tests will be decisive, from which it will finally be possible to understand which ones substances the 18-year-old had taken.
The boy took gods drugs to cure one’s own psychological fragility. And the night before his death he would also have taken over alcohol: in fact, empty beer bottles were found in his room. The investigators’ suspicion is that he may have also used other substances, perhaps narcotics, in a fatal mix. For laboratory results we will have to wait weeks, if not months.
In the meantime the prosecutor gave the permission for burial, returning the body to the family. The funeral of Philip will be celebrated Friday 21 June at 3.30pm in the church of Casale. Once the funeral is over, the coffin will continue for cremation. The donations collected will be donated to the Ail (Italian Association against Leukemia).
