All the Pro Locos in the Lazio region have reconfirmed Claudio Nardocci as president of Unpli Lazio. The proclamation took place on Sunday 16 June 2024 during the elective assembly held in the splendid Villa dei Desideri in Cerveteri (Rome). The regional council, the supervisory body and the board of arbitrators have also been renewed. The national councilors and delegates who will represent Lazio at the national assembly which will take place in Rome on 16 November 2024 have also been nominated.
A day of celebration, speeches, debate, insights and training for the participants representing the hundreds of Pro Locos from the five provinces of Lazio present. The institutional greetings expressed by the president of the V tourism council commission of the Lazio Region, Mario Luciano Crea, who also presented a plaque of merit to Nardocci for his commitment to the territories and their promotion, were much appreciated.
The training which covered the hot topic of current affairs, that of artificial intelligence and its usefulness in the daily work of the Pro Loco, was also very popular. Speeches were held on the innovations of the RUNTS (Single Register of the Third Sector) and useful implications in relations with local administrations.
A day to remember which consecrates the painstaking work of pure volunteering aimed at the growth of their local communities by the Pro Loco. towards which public administrations, public institutions and the productive world look with great favour.

Claudio Nardocci, in his thank you speech, expressed profound gratitude for the support received and outlined the guidelines for the future. Among the priorities, he indicated the strengthening of the Pro Loco network, the promotion of new territorial development projects and the continuous updating of the volunteers’ skills.
The assembly ended with warm applause and a moment of conviviality that strengthened the sense of community and collaboration among all participants. Unpli Lazio is now preparing to face future challenges with renewed enthusiasm and determination, aware of the central role that the Pro Locos play in the promotion and valorisation of the territory.
