The Leipzig police also confirmed everything as reported by Bild: “Around 5.30pm two Portuguese journalists (Pereira and a cameraman – ed.) were physically attacked and beaten by several unknown persons. A 47-year-old man suffered injuries so serious that he had to be taken to hospital for observation. His partner, 57 years old, was slightly injured. The perpetrators have not yet been identified.”
