After returning to his elderly parents’ home for serving the remainder of 4 years and 8 months of the sentence, he repeatedly threatened them with death, insulted them and beat them.
The episode happened in Oristano, where the Police, at the disposal of the Surveillance Court of Cagliari, has arrested a 45 year old local and transferred him again to Massama prison.
The man, already convicted on appeal for mistreatment, injuries and sexual violence against the partnereven in the presence of his minor children, was serving the remainder of his sentence at the home of the two family members who had decided to welcome him.
But man he railed against both of them several times, often under the influence of alcohol, even going so far as to threaten them with death. So the father decided to contact the police.
Following the investigations, the Mobile Squad of the Police Headquarters collected all the clues and reported the matter to the Oristano Prosecutor’s Office, also informing the Cagliari Surveillance Court. The latter established that, given his threatening and violent behavior, the man demonstrated his inability to comply with the requirements. The execution of home detention was therefore suspended, and the 45-year-old was arrested again.
