Rijeka have announced season ticket prices for next season, sending fans into a rage. Season tickets for almost all stands have more than doubled compared to last year, with an average price increase of 102.35%.

“HNK Rijeka will start selling season tickets for the 2024/2025 season on Monday, July 1. The pre-emption period for last season’s season ticket holders (annual and half-yearly) will be from July 1 to July 15,” Rijeka’s announcement on social media reads.

Fans did not hide their disappointment and expressed their disappointment at the high prices of annual season tickets in the comments below the announcement.

“A nice reward for loyalty to the club. A thousand thanks!”.

“Well done geniuses, only a 135% increase for grandstand I4. Are we going to see 135% better football and have 135% better service next season?”

“Shame on you, I have been a subscriber for ten years but I won’t be one anymore. You can accept an increase of 20 or even 30%, but this has exceeded all limits. You will end up with 3000 season ticket holders instead of 6000, the profit will be the same, and you will start to lose fans, you won’t play out any matches. You will end up like Istra with the semi-empty stadium and the stands closed.”

“Are these prices in kuna?”

“Sorry, Real Madrid, we didn’t recognize you” (Roberta Rušnjak)

“The price of the annual season ticket in the central stand in Udine is about the same as in Rujevica. We have a problem.”

These are just some of the comments from fans enraged by the club’s decision.
