With deep pain ASPMI joins the mourning for the disappearance of General Claudio Graziano, president of Fincantieri.
The news of his death shook us deeply. Claudio Graziano, a very high profile figure, he served our country with exemplary dedication and commitment. Born in Turin in 1953, he began his extraordinary career atMilitary Academy of Modenaand then distinguished himself in a military career which saw him hold roles of great responsibility, including that of Chief of Defense Staff from February 2015 to November 2018 and of President of the Military Committee of the European Union.
Since 2022 he has been at the helm of Fincantieri, contributing with his vision and expertise to the company’s progress.
The circumstances of his death, which occurred shortly after the loss of his beloved wife, sadden us deeply. In this moment of great pain, we wish to express ours most sincere condolences to the Graziano familyto friends and to all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
Claudio Graziano will be remembered not only for his countless professional successes, but also for his spirit of service and his profound sense of duty. The loss of him leaves a unbridgeable void.
