Take all the main SUVs currently on the market and put them in a drag race with the aim of getting the better of the Ferrari Purosangue. This is what the colleagues of Carwow who tested which Sport Utility Vehicles had the best acceleration.

It was missing BMW XMthe first in the top 10 of the best-selling exotic cars in Europe, but the propeller company still made its presence with a splendid BMW X6 M Competition. Then there was the aforementioned Purosangue, then the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, the Aston Martin DBX 707, the Lamborghini Urus Performante, the Range Rover Sport SV, the Mercedes-AMG G63 and finally the Land Rover Defender V8.

Well, in the first race Ferrari and Aston Martin they arrived practically tied, stopping the clock at 11.7 seconds. However, some competitors recorded a less than ideal start, starting for example with the Urus, as well as the G63. In the following three races, the three slowest cars were eliminated, i.e. the G63, the Defender V8 and the Range Rover SV.

It should be noted how the first attempt was interrupted by a hare who decided to cross the circuit just as the Ferrari Purosangue, the one that will be the best-selling Red in 2024, was whizzing by at full speed.

In the second attempt, however, something happened to the Ferrari’s gearbox which was accidentally put into automatic mode. Finally, a test was done to see which SUV had the best braking after reaching 160 km/h, the X6 M Competition proved to be the SUV capable of stopping before all the others.

To find out the outcome of all the tests we leave you to video which you find above. It is always impressive to think that under the hood of these SUVs there are even more than 700 horsepower, in fact it is supercar in disguisetruly a sight for sore eyes.
