The redevelopment of the flagstone paving in Piazza del Tiratorio and the asphalting of Via Solferino. But also work for new connections to the gas network in via della Querciola and the aqueduct in via di Peretola, via di Ugnano and via di Monterinaldi: These are some of the interventions that will begin next week on city streets with the establishment of traffic measures.
Starting with road renovations, on Wednesday 19 June the redevelopment works of the stone paving in Piazza del Tiratoio. The intervention is divided into three phases with checkerboard closures of the square; alternative road system via via del Piaggione-piazza del Cestello for vehicles coming from via Sant’Onofrio: vicolo del Tiratoio-via del Tiratoio-via del Piaggione; for vehicles coming from Lungarno Soderini: via del Tiratoio-via del Piaggione. Expected deadline mid-October.
Also on Wednesday 19 June (from 9pm) the asphalting of via Solferino. In the first phase the works will affect the south side semi-lane with closure of the section between Piazza Vittorio Veneto and Via Palestro. Traffic was also interrupted in via Magenta (from via Montebello to Corso Italia), via Garibaldi (same stretch), via Palestro (from via Montebello to Corso Italia). Subsequently, only at night, the works will move to the semi-lane north side of via Solferino with closure between via Palestro and piazza Vittorio Veneto and via Garibaldi (between via Montebello and Corso Italia). In both phases, a one-way system will be established in via Montebello from viale Fratelli Rosselli towards via Magenta. Alternative itinerary for vehicles coming from Piazza Vittorio Veneto and heading to Piazzale di Porta a Prato: Piazza Vittorio Veneto-viale Fratelli Rosselli-via Montebello-via Garibaldi-via Il Prato. The intervention will end on June 22nd.

Via della Querciola: work for a new connection to the gas distribution network will begin on Monday 17 June. The road will be closed between via di Castello and via Reginaldo Giuliani until June 21st. Alternative route for via Reginaldo Giuliani: via di Castello-via della Petraia-via di Boldrone-via della Quiete-via del Chiuso dei Pazzi-via delle Panche-via Reginaldo Giuliani.
Via di Monterinaldi: work to renovate a water connection will begin on Monday 17 June with the establishment of a transit ban between via della Lastra and via Bolognese. Estimated deadline June 23rd.
Via Maffia: from Monday 17 June work is scheduled for a new connection to the water network. The stretch without background from via Sant’Agostino will be closed until June 21st. Also on Monday, from 9.30 to 11.30, traffic will be interrupted between via Sant’Agostino and via di Santo Spirito due to the manual handling of building material for construction work. This measure will also be in force on Thursday 20 June.
Via di Peretola: also in this case it concerns works for a new connection to the water network. From Monday 17th to Friday 21st June a transit ban will be in force from via della Cupola to via del Canale. Alternative route via di Brozzi: via della Cupola-via Michelacci-via di Peretolaà-via Baracca-via Pistoiese-via dell’Osteria-via di Brozzi.
Via di Ugnano: work continues for a new connection to the aqueduct with the closure, starting from Monday 17 June, of the via di Mantignano-via Baccio da Montelupo section. The measure will be in force until June 21st. Alternative route: via di Ugnano-via di Castelnuovo-via Bosio-via Minervini-via Baccio da Montelupo.
Via dei Benci: an intervention with an aerial platform will be carried out at night. From 10pm on Monday 17th to 5am on Tuesday 18th June a transit ban will be in force from Lungarno delle Grazie to Via Mozza. The measure will be repeated for the following three nights.
Viale Guidoni: the excavation along the service road will begin on Monday 17 June. Until June 21st, traffic will be interrupted, always on the service road, between via Da Schio and via dell’Olmatello. Alternative route for vehicles over 2.20 meters headed towards via dell’Olmatello: roundabout viale Guidoni-viale XI Agosto-via Palach-via dell’Olmatello.
Via Berdelli: for construction works from Monday 17th to Wednesday 19th June a transit ban will be in force between via Mercati and via Burci. There are also one-way routes in via dei Casamorata (from via Mercati towards via Rossi) and via Burci (between via di Casamorata towards via Bardelli). Alternative road system for via Burci: via Mercati-via dei Casamorata-via Burci.
Via dei Pilastri: for an intervention with an aerial platform from Monday 17th to Wednesday 19th June with closure of the stretch between via degli Alfani and via Fiesolana. Alternative route: via Alfani-Borgo Pinti-via di Mezzo-via Fiesolana-via dei Pilastri.
Piazza dell’Olio-vicolo dei Cavallari-piazza dei Cavallari-via dei Cerretani-via Zannetti: another intervention with an aerial platform. From 9pm on Monday 17th to 6am on Tuesday 18th June the route piazza dell’Olio-vicolo dei Cavallari-piazza dei Cavallari-via dei Cerretani-via Zannetti will be closed.
Via del Fiorino-via Bertolino-piazza Spadolini-via Cammeo: for works with an aerial platform from Monday 17th to Friday 21st June, traffic on the via del Fiorino-via Bertolino-piazza Spadolini-via Cammeo route will be interrupted. Alternative road system for via Cammeo: via Pertini-viale Guidoni; alternative road system for those on the front in via del Fiorino: entrance/exit from via Pertini; alternative road system for the fronts of via Parenti and via Barile: entrance/exit from viale Guidoni.
Via di Santa Lucia: from Monday 17th to Wednesday 19th June the road will be closed from Il Prato and via Palazzuolo for construction works. There will also be one-way traffic in Il Prato (from house number 20r towards via Palazzuolo) and via Palazzuolo (from Il Prato towards via degli Orti Oricellari). Alternative roads for vehicles heading towards via degli Orti Oricellari: Il Prato-via Palazzuolo-via degli Orti Oricellari.
Lion Street: due to an intervention with an aerial platform on Tuesday 18 June the via della Chiesa-piazza Piattellina section will be closed. The provision will be in force from 9am to 6pm. Alternative itinerary for authorized vehicles on the prohibited section: Piazza Tasso-viale Pratolini-viale Ariosto-Borgo San Frediano-piazza del Carmine-piazza Piattellina.
Via Santa Maria: Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th June a move is scheduled with closure of the via dei Serragli-via delle Caldaie section.
Porcelain Street: to install shutters with a lifting basket. On Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th June the route via del Porcellana-via di San Paolino-piazza di San Paolino will be closed.
Sdrucciolo of the Picts: an intervention with an aerial platform will be carried out on Wednesday 19 June (9am-6pm). A transit ban will be established between via Toscanella and via Maggio, in the stretch between via Toscanella and piazza dei Pitti a one-way traffic will be established towards the square. Alternative route: piazza dei Frescobaldi-lungarno Guicciardini-via dei Coverelli-Presto di San Martino-Borgo Tegolaio-via Mazzetta-piazza di San Felice-via Maggio.
Via Santa Margherita: Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th June an intervention on the gutter is scheduled with the closure of the Corso-piazza dei Giuochi section.
Borgo Ognissanti: for construction work with an aerial platform from 10pm on Thursday 20th to 5.30am on Friday 21st June traffic will be interrupted in the stretch between Piazza Goldoni and Via del Porcellana; the Piazza Ognissanti-Via del Porcellana section will become one-way towards Via del Porcellana. Alternative roads for those coming from via dei Fossi to piazza Ognissanti and via del Porcellana: via Palazzuolo-via Finiguerra-Borgo Ognissanti-via Curtatone-lungarno Vespucci-piazza Ognissanti. Or: piazza Goldoni-Ponte alla Carraia-lungarno Soderini-Ponte Vespucci-lungarno Vespucci-piazza Ognissanti.
Via Sant’Antonino: a move will take place on Friday 21 June. The stretch between via dell’Ariento and via Faenza will be closed between 10pm and 12pm.
Via D’Ardiglione: for the assembly of scaffolding on Friday 21 June from 9am to 7pm there will be a closure between via dei Serragli and via Santa Monaca.
