Although different rumors often circulate, in the love life of Patty Pravo there doesn’t seem to be any boyfriend or partner. It’s certainly not about Simone Folco, the singer’s young personal assistant about whom rather curious rumors have often spread. This is because, even in public, the artist and her assistant showed themselves to be complicit and very close-knit, despite a forty-four year age difference. In fact, there has been a rumor for some time that Simone is Patty Pravo’s partner, but neither of them has ever confirmed the rumors which have gradually disappeared.
“We have an extraordinary elective affinity, a love flash of a different nature. He exercises his ‘nurturing’ side on me, keeping my temper at bay,” Patty Pravo specified when speaking of the human qualities of her young assistant, a presence that has now become indispensable in her life.

As is well known, the singer decided to dedicate her life to her career and she never thought about starting a family and having a child, except during her relationship with the English drummer Gordon Faggetter. The thought had been there, she says during an interview, but “Maybe it went better that way.”
Also because, in hindsight, Patty Pravo’s relationships, although very intense, were not long-lasting. “In my house, either you do mothering well or you don’t. Just for a moment I imagined myself with a big belly, a blue chiffon dress, a large straw hat while I ran. You have to have a lot of love inside to think about having a child and even more love to think that it’s not worth having one”, the Venetian singer’s pearl of wisdom.
