In Germany to complete his life’s mission of having Luciano Spalletti as his best man at his wedding. The poster displayed at the stadium by a group of fans at the Italy match has gone viral. “I want Pandemonium at my wedding. Spallettone, will you be my best man?”. The author of the invitation for the national team coach was the Sienese Tommaso Petrini, known to his friends as ‘Tommulo’, whose poster also ended up on Sportitalia yesterday. “Tommaso has been a fan of Spalletti since his Empoli days and followed him in the most important events of his career”, say his friends. Who organized a stag party of this kind in Germany. “We left from Siena and drove more than 13 hours just to be present in Iserlhon, home of Casa Azzurri, and then to the Dortmund stadium to watch the match against Albania”, says Petrini. Luciano Spalletti was born in Certaldo on 7 March 1959 but lives – as the newly re-elected mayor Alessio Mugnaini proudly recalled yesterday – in Montespertoli, in the Lungagnana district.
