On Sunday 23 June, Capriva del Friuli will be the stage for a new motoring event: the Group 5 Italian Regularity Championship race – Colli Goriziani. This event, dedicated to vintage motorcycles registered up to 1985, will see the participation of around 250 riders from all over Italy, who will invade the Collio from the previous day for registrations and technical checks of the motorcycles.

The starting area will be set up at the Rusiz Inferiore celebration park, where a well-stocked kiosk will be operational from Friday evening, offering refreshments to participants and spectators. The race will officially start on Sunday morning at 8:30, with the riders competing on a 42 kilometer route to be repeated three times. The route will cross the municipalities of Capriva, Cormons, San Floriano, Gorizia and Mossa, offering breathtaking views and a high-level technical challenge.

The timed trials, decisive for the final ranking, will take place in two particularly evocative locations: Monte Calvario, starting from Gardiscutta and arriving in Grojna, and Preval, near the small church. This last test will be the most spectacular and will welcome the public with the enthusiasm of the official championship commentator, Max Segale, and a refreshment kiosk in the starting area.

The organization of the event is managed by the Motoclub Medeot of Gorizia, in close collaboration with the Italian Motorcycle Federation, guaranteeing an unforgettable experience for both participants and spectators. The day will culminate with the awards ceremony, scheduled approximately for 5pm in Capriva, celebrating the winners of a competition that promises to be full of adrenaline and passion for vintage motorbikes.
