Dead motorcyclist
In Corso Argentina, along a ring of the Padua ring roads, a 43-year-old motorcyclist resident in Ponte San Nicolò lost his life. Pierpaolo Salmaso. The centaur was continuing towards Padua East and shortly after entering the ring road his Aprilia collided with an Audi in front of him: the impact was fatal. A patrol from the local police of Padua intervened.
Pedestrian hit
The second accident occurred at Bovolenta. At half past midnight via Sant’Antonio Abate, a district of Brusadure in Bovolenta a 34 year old Moldovan, domiciled in Piove di Sacco, while he was trying to walk home along the side of the road he was fatally hit by a car, a Peugeot 407, driven by a 48-year-old from Chioggia.
A Suem 118 ambulance intervened on the scene, but the paramedics were only able to confirm the man’s death.
The causes of the accident are being investigated by the Carabinieri of the Bovolenta station.
