The friends present immediately called for help, but unfortunately every attempt to resuscitate him was useless. The death occurred around 6.30 in the morning.

Montenegrin state television RTCG reports that Sarkic went for an evening walk with friends, then had dinner at a restaurant and returned early to his apartment.
He is believed to have told friends he felt unwell after waking up at around 6am this morning and they called an ambulance but it was too late.
