Great impact in Narni for the appointment signed Narni Città Teatro, an event which from 14 to 16 June animated the city with events, more than 45, and spectacular initiatives every hour of the day: a festival-event, now in its fifth edition, in capable of attracting the attention of artists such as Vinicio Marchioni, Roberto Vecchioni, Gemitaiz. One of the most anticipated and successful initiatives was certainly that of yesterday, Saturday 15 June, which saw dinosaurs as protagonists. Animated dinosaurs paraded along the streets of the medieval village, capturing the excitement of adults and children alike, for an unusual and exciting show, transforming the town of Narni into ‘Jurassic Park’ for a day. ‘Saurus’, as the name of the artistic production is, is curated by Close-Act Theater Company and sees the use of dinosaurs animated by artists on stilts and covered by stage costumes, approximately 5 meters high and 7 meters long.
Narni City Theatre, “Suspended Dreams”
This year’s theme was that of “Suspended Dreams”, as explained by Francesco Montanari, one of the artistic directors together with Davide Sacco, on Sky Tg24: “We would like to give any person, whether in show business or not, the opportunity to tell us what they would like to do, to tell us about a dream, whatever it may be – explains Montanari – Then we realize it in some way, it is clear that we stop at the compromise…All the shows will have the dream as their theme. We have conceived the festival, from the beginning, as the birth of a living being, in the various editions. Now we are left with the dream world.” And when asked if he plays the role of only the artistic director or also that of the actor he replies: “On Sunday I will tell the story “The Hero’s Journey”, a sort of ensemble of dramaturgy but above all of the journey of the human being”.
