14th trophy in his career, he won on all surfaces!

Jannik Sinner won the ATP 500 tournament in Halle, defeating the Polish Hubert Hurkaczz in the final staged on German grass. The South Tyrolean tennis player was the protagonist of an impeccable journey in Germany, winning the first title of his career on this surface and further expanding his palmares: today’s trophy is the fourteenth trophy of his career.

During this competitive year, the 22-year-old had already celebrated at the Australian Open, the ATP 500 in Rotterdam and the Masters 1000 in Miami. The world number 1 boasts a Slam and the 2023 Davis Cup raised to the sky together with his national team teammates (therefore he is not included in the calculation of the fourteen seals).

Last year he also raised the Masters 1000 in Toronto to the skies. At the ATP 500 level, however, there are four affirmations, in addition to today’s: Rotterdam in 2024, Vienna and Beijing in 2023, Washington in 2021. On the 250 front, however, the calculation is six: Montpellier in 2023, Umag in 2022, Antwerp, Sofia and Melbourne in 2021, Sofia in 2020.

Jannik Sinner has thus extended his lead in the ranking of Italians with the most tournaments in the history of men’s tennis. The 22-year-old definitely has Adriano Panatta separated, who won on ten occasions during his career. Fabio Fognini is at 9, Matteo Berrettini at 7, Paolo Bertolucci at 6.

Jannik Sinner was able to win on all surfaces: 6 times on outdoor hard courts (Australian Open, Miami, Beijing, Toronto, Washington, Melbourne 1), 6 times on indoor fast hard courts (Rotterdam, Vienna, Montpellier, Antwerp, Sofia twice), 1 time on clay (Umag) and 1 time on grass (Halle).
