Santa Margherita Ligure is preparing to welcome the spotlight of high fashion with the fourth edition of Liguria Fashion Weeka highly anticipated event that will be held in the historic and evocative Villa Durazzo. Sunday 16 June 2024the doors of the seventeenth-century residence will open for an exclusive evening dedicated to the creations of established and emerging designers, united to celebrate and promote the great value of Made in Italy.
Organized byAurora Borealis Associationunder the guidance of Dr. Margherita Ficara and Dr. Marco Quaini, the event will begin at 8.45pm and will be accessible by invitation only.
A stage for emerging talents and established stylists
There Liguria Fashion Week it is not only a showcase for already consolidated names in the world of fashion, but also a launching pad for young designers. This year, in fact, particular attention will be paid to emerging talents of the Genoa Fashion Institutewho will present creations of formal dresses, the result of their studies and creativity.
The evening will be divided into two distinct fashion moments, with the participation of prestigious brands such as ELIZABETH LUZ, SG – SIMONA GULLOTTA, MICHELE CASTO, CHIARA MESSINA, RENATA LA RENA, CONCITA PETRALITO, CUPPARI COUTURE, PINA GRASSO, ARI & ANA, LIGYES, ATELIER ALESSIA, ESESTEEL jewels, AGHE’ MARE and the Genoa Fashion Institute itself.
A program full of events
The day’s program will not be limited to evening parades. From 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm, Villa Durazzo will host a Photo exhibition entitled “Divine”, curated by Margherita Ficara and Sabrina Torre. At the same time, there will be a showroom with living exhibitions of the participating designers, an opportunity open to the public to admire up close the creations that will be on show in the evening. The event will be further enriched by the presence of well-known personalities from the world of fashion, entrepreneurship and journalism. On this occasion they will also be assigned the Lifetime Achievement Award and Creativity Awardawards that celebrate talent and innovation in the fashion industry.
The Liguria Fashion Week makes use of the collaboration with the national beauty competition “La Venere dell’Etna” 2024, which will reward a model with the title of “Miss Liguria”, guaranteeing her access to the final of the competition to be held this summer in Sicily. The hairstyle and make-up part will be entrusted to industry professionals such as CNA wellbeing, Backstage Make-up Academy, Ingrida, Mattia Calla and Alessandra Scala. The event enjoys the patronage of the Liguria Region and the Municipality of Santa Margherita Ligure.
