The world of football mourns Kevin’s passing Campbell. The former striker passed away in these hours following an illness and he was remembered above all byArsenal, a team in which he played and won for several years at the beginning of his career as a footballer. Born in Lambeth, a district of London, in 1970 he grew up as a boy in the youth sector of the Gunners until he was called up by the England national team with whom he only played one match.

In his career he played for 10 years with the shirt ofArsenal (including the 3 in the youth sector). With the first team he scored 46 goals in 166 matches and went on to win everything in England: 2 championships, 1 Community Shield, 1 League Cup and an FA Cup as well as a Cup Winners’ Cup. A life spent in the Premier League, he spent a season with the Trabzonspor: fromLeyton East to the Leicester until the Nottingham Forest, Everton, West Bromwich and to close with the Cardiff in 2007.
