A city crossover is coming from Korea, which will be able to satisfy the needs of many. The price will be low, but without sacrificing comfort.
Having a car that is suitable for navigating city traffic, but without having to give up space, was not easy to find in the past. However, car manufacturers seem to have understood how many people have a car of this type in mind and this is why the city crossover proposal is expanding, which aims to be a mix between a city car and an SUV, trying to combine the best of both segments.
The wait can only be very strong, given that for some time now there has been talk of the possibility of seeing a model arrive on the market that aims to revolutionize this segment, even if it will inevitably be necessary to wait until 2025 for the market launch.
The new city crossover arriving is from Hyundai
Knowing that the new city crossover that we will soon see in Italy comes from Korea immediately makes you think of Hyundai. The Inster, this is the name chosen (it refers to the words “intimate” and “innovative” and “Casper”) will be exclusively electric and takes inspiration from what can be considered theto its petrol “sister”, the Casper, which is however sold exclusively in Asia.
Unlike the past model, launched in 2021, it will go on sale globally, maintaining many of the characteristics of its “ancestor”, but with some innovations that will satisfy many. In fact, noteworthy are the rounded daytime running lights segmented on the front and the “square” indicators which Hyundai calls Pixels. (they are typical of the electric Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6).
At least for now, very little is known on a technical level, even if the teaser that was released by the company suggests compact but above all square shapes (length equal to 360 centimetres). However, further details could emerge as early as the end of the month, when the preview presentation should be scheduled at the Busan International Mobility Show in South Korea. The car wants to do from competition with models that are already aiming for a large following, such as the Renault 5, the Citroen C3 and the next Panda.
