The Federal Council which took place yesterday established, and I quote the obvious: theAncona will not take part in the next Serie C tournament. Instead of the Dorico club, however, there will be a new B team: that of Milan.
With this important news to the FIGC, in view of the start of the 2024/2025 tournament, it will be necessary to determine the criteria with which to divide the three second teams (in addition to the Devil we also remember Atalanta and Juventus among the three groups. At the moment, in fact, the only certainty is that there cannot be two in the same group.
This is a decision that should be taken, again in the buildings of Rome, at the next council meeting scheduled for June 27th. It cannot be ruled out that the division of the B formation will be carried out through a draw. Perhaps with a series of barriers or specific limits.
In the meantime, here are the groups, still without Under23s, of the Lega Pro 2024/2025:
