Lecce nei Marsi – There will be many activities involving local communities in the areas of the LIFE Bear-Smart Corridors Project.

The Italian partners are organizing a specific type of public event, of a training and interactive nature, which will be held in each of the Bear Measure Communities of the central Apennines, with the aim of continuing the work of raising awareness of various stakeholders of interest on the many aspects of human-bear coexistence.

In addition to the project team, experts and facilitators will be involved to guarantee skills, quality and professionalism of contents and activities offered to local communities.

The first meeting in the PNALM, dedicated to the Misura d’Orso Community of Lecce nei Marsi, will be held on Saturday 22 June at the Il Castelluccio B&B accommodation facility, from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.

The meeting is aimed at citizens residing in the Municipality of Lecce nei Marsi. It will be an intense day, full of content and exchanges that we hope will be useful in growing together, for a community that takes care of its landscape, its natural resources and that makes the presence of the bear an element of pride and identity.
